Nuck was fun, should have let him stay. What about Blackthorne, is he coming back? I forget what Nuck did... but he was not `all in good fun` just before he got banned, I forget why we did ban him though.... Blackthorne does not want to come back, he is permitted but he choses not to come back for now, down the road he may, but not for a while. I don't remember what he did either. Blackthorne has quite the thread going over at newwinnipeg

jeez some of you guys are out of your mind to think that most of these teams are going to move to the peg. I would love another team in canada, but the next one we get (if we do get one) will be in Hamilton. Houston, Portland, Kansas City and Hamilton are on the raydar, but the peg is not. There is no potential ownerships even stepping up to the plate and your arena is too small. If hamilton go a team they would build an 18,000 seat arena. The way I see it is the canes and predators will move to Houston and Kansas city because both are very attractive. Which team goes where really doesn't matter. The biggest mistake the NHL did was give expansion franchises to Nashville and Raleigh. They are both small markets in the south like c'mon if a small market team in canada (winnipeg) can't even make it what made them think that the Preds or Canes would have made it. I don't understand why Karmanos even moved the team from hartford to raleigh when hartford was going to give him a new building. I mean if he was going to move he should have moved to a big market not some small market in the south. Atlanta is probably the only decent team in the south to tell you the truth. The flames used to outdraw the NBA hawks back when they were in Atlanta. Their owner went bankrupt for gambling and stuff and Atlanta is known for bandwagoning teams so they'll be ok. The Capitals are off the raydar of relocation like a previous poster said they are not just a flavour of the month. What's next florida? Miami will support a winner no doubt likewise tampa. Buffalo isn't a flavour of the week team either. The only two franchises that will most likely relocate are the canes and preds, but they're only 2 teams in 4 very possible spots. Like I said no ownership has stepped up for the peg and no one expects anyone too. I hate having to deal with winnipeg fans always yapping about how the peg got screwed etc. No one got screwed more than the Whalers and their fans don't come up with complete idiocy and jargon to state their case. "Bettman is stupid HOCKEY is Canada's game" that's all I hear from peggers justifying why they should get another NHL team. How about actually putting together real facts why you should get a team. I was born, raised and currently live in toronto. I remember watching games in 92, 93 etc and the arena had a lot of empty seats. Where was this so called "hardcore" fan base then? The white out is a joke and phoenix made it know that the lock out is possible anywhere. You guys just copied the Flames red mile in that playoff series with them. I know you guys are going to get your hopes up and then when someone else gets a team via relocation the rest of canada is going to have to put up with "WTF BETTMAN SCREWED US AGAIN" propaganda. So please do yourselves a favour and let go of this dream because it aint happening. No owner in their right mind will move a team from a place with potential, like a big city, to a place like winnipeg with piss poor potential and the best thing going for it is their Highly overrated fan base. Toronto, Montreal, and calgary are the only real fanbases in canada and the rest are just bandwagoners. Winnipeg Jets fans were included. Chow! Paragraphs are your friend.

Chris, contrary to what you and many others believe, the Skins aren't all that matter here. Most people I know are Cowboys or Packers fans. The Nationals are the team everyone cares about because the majority of us had never had a team in our area. Now that we don't have to go to Baltimore, baseball matters here because we have what the generation before us lost. Hopefully you don't have to wait that long for the Jets to return. I just hope the Capitals aren't the new Jets because I like seeing hockey when I'm home for winter break.
And I don't know what you're talking about, mapleleafs, you left Ottawa off that list. We probably have the best fans in the NHL, just because you support the Leafs is no reason to leave the Sens off the list!
