your right about the fact that he used his feet, and that he didnt throw any picks, but he still sucked in the sense that he only completed 57% of his passes and only threw for 141 yards. Yup, he's a real winner.
You know that the Argo's had their second string QB in hey? The fact that we only beat them by 7 points is pathetic. You know why we didn't beat them even worse? Because we had a second string QB in too.
The defence played superb and was the main reason we won the game. Reason number two, Charles Roberts. Glenn did nothing, and I believe that most people on this forum will agree.
How can you still praise this nobody? In the two games this season, he's completed 57% of his passes, for 314 yards, with two INT's and 0 TD's. Our offence is averaging 16.5 points per game, how do you expect to beat teams like Montreal, Hamilton, BC, even Edmonton or Calgray, or a healthy Toronto? You simply can't, the only team we might even have a shot at beating is Saskatchewan, and even they will beat us I think. Our QB situation is terrible, and needs to be addressed, regardless of what you think yogi.

maybe I am, maybe I'm not.
I'd love to take a poll of all the football fans in Winnipeg, or even find out what the rest of Canada thinks (not that it's possible)
I'd bet you though that at least 75% of people would agree with me. That's what I find the percentages to be roughly locally at least.

Yogi you keep insulting the "kid". Why would someone as mature as you argue such little details? Whose the kid?
Actually in the threads he's made more intelligent/mature (sometimes 'agressive') comments than have come from you. If you are going to pin all your hopes on Glenn then you have missed the boat.
Enough with the "kid" comments. He's outwhitted you bringing stats to the table - you have any <b>stats</b> to prove him wrong - or just more "your wrong kid!" comments?
You aren't really Kevin Glenn hanging out in the thread are you? When you lose your job I've got some outhouses that need cleaning up if your looking for work you are qualified for - come see me. You only need to throw the TP a few yards, and accuracy isn't important ;-)

i see no point arguing with a little kid who knows nothing about football. kevin glenn is a superior QB to anyone on the market and everyother qb in the league. period. i'm sick of arguing when i know i'm right

Take a look at the poll so far.
You're the only one who's voted him as a qualified starter.
Everyone else has either said get rid of him, or right now he's a back up.
You're the one who knows nothing about football. Some idiot armchair quarterback who flips to porn on the commercials probably.

i'm sick of arguing with you since you know nothing so my final statement is
offense wins games defence wins championships, and currently the defence has shut down the opposition 91.7% of the time, 1st in the league, more than 20% higher than any other team

Fine. Whatever. You are right Yogi. The only voice of reason and knowledge in this town. We are humbled by your wisdom.
I have NO problem admitting when I'm wrong. But one thing...on the off chance the Bombers have (another) loosing season, or Glenn released or relegated to backup job, will you be man enough to admit you were wrong, or will it still be everyone elseโs fault but Glenns?

For the record though, if the events I mentioned above take place, then in the spirit of good sportsmanship you will say you were wrong?

he for sure won't be released, but if someone half decent comes in he could be relegated to back up, that's more likely to happen.
and i hope it does
