yOGIDaBear, you've seen the game right? Brown oval shaped ball, played on turf?
I have to agree with couch and the others here. We are lucky to have Glenn - but as a backup. He's a quality reliever, but he ain't no starter. Give him a few more years and then you have an argument to make.
We need a passer, and about 4 weeks into the season I'm going to come back here to remind you of your comments. God I hope I'm the one that looks like the idiot, but I don't think so.
Most (almost all) of the leagues starters are better, and some teams are carrying better backups than our starter.
What obscure stats are you looking at to proclaim Glenn as our hero? Please enlighten this football idiot.

name 1 team that has a better backup qb than glenn, sask with crandle maybe, maybe edmonton with khari, but if khari was better than glenn he'd still be here. glenn did as good as most QB's last year, he's supporting team let him down. like i said before glenn is a great QB, just needs to work on the last 4 minutes of the game, thats when we lost most games

If I remember right, we only lost 2 games in the last 4 minutes. BC has Buck Pierce, I'm not saying he's better than Glenn, but he sure is comparable. Khari had a bad year and everyone dumped on him, I would rather have him anyday over Glenn. As of right now Glenn is a joke, and you're a joke for saying he's so good. Hopefully you'll prove us all wrong....

you guys are saying glenn is young, isn't he 29? That's not young, that's the prime of a football career sure hes "young" in his career as a starter.
I think Glenn's problem is that he's not taking advantage of his speed, when he was a backup he would run, like khari did, but when he became a starter he stopped running out of the pocket, making him a one demensional player, just like what happened to Khari, and that's the coaches fault. If you see a guy falling into patterns, it is the coach's job to point them out so he can fix them before the other team catches on.
you gotta keep'em guess'n---- George W. Bush impersonation

I agree, totally, he's not bad when he scrambles, but unless he starts runnin himself around again, his 29 year old @$$ will be sitting on the bench

Bush impersonation Glenn is 26, 2nd youngest starter in the league. and from what is saw in the preseason, glenn should be using his feet more this season. he had 1 rushing TD in the preseason, equal to his entire total rushing td's from last year, hope he keeps it up

Yo yOGIDaBear, you still wanna sing this hacks praises? Unless they relegate this guy to backup and sign a quarterback (and soon) we are facing another repeat of last years season.
What's with people putting their heads in the sand and blaming everything else but Glenn? Those second half picks were absolutely terrible.
Is Jones still available? He can't be any worse, and is probably still better.
Make a decision now and salvage the season - don't wait until we are 2 and 6 before we start looking!

yes i do, he did really good in the first 3 quarters, just has to get his nerves calmed doen in the 4th quarter, like i've been saying. plus he used his feet well tonight. matched his last year mark for rushing td's tonight. glenns just gotta work on staying calm in the 4th. plus the o-line shlit the bed, specifically sheridan and MAM. give them time to gel and we'll see those sacks disaapear and more completions from glenn.

Yogi if you call that one yard plunge a rushing td, you're Go Jets Go. He wasn't even good in the first 3 quarters, he had a good completion percentage but not very many yards! I agree with skyspy, where's Khari, let's sign him.
P.S. Our fourth string Spergeon Wynn who is now in Toronto seemed pretty solid in Toronto today. Just another bad decision by the bombers to let him go, Wynn is better than Glenn and could be starting here.

lol, dumb little kid, i don't think glenn sucks at all, because i'm smarter than you and i understand statistics and i've actually seen bomber games. and if you honestly think khari or bishop, both of whom got cut because they sucked, are better than glenn, you really are a dumb little kid. no wonder you didn't get a YOGI
