I was unaware of this, but apparently if the Bombers beat BC next week they will host a playoff game no matter the outcome between Toronto and Montreal, did Wpg finish with a better record head to head with these 2 teams, or is it settled by points?

Okay things are starting to shape up in the East well sort of...
Anyways let's say we do WIN next week in BC.
The game between Montreal and Toronto would determine who finishes 1st and 3rd place.
I personnally would rather play Montreal at home with the home town crowd rattling Calvillo and the Al's and let us play at Rogers Centre it would be easier than playing in Olympic Stadium with the hardcore Alouette fans. In my opinion it would be the easier road to the Grey Cup.

A little tidbit of interest.... Damon Allen has NEVER beaten the Blue in the playoffs. I think he lost 3 times.

Possible scenarios. 1. If Montreal wins and the Bombers Win all 3 teams have 10-8 records. Winnipeg beat Toronto 2-1 in season series. Montreal beat Winnipeg 2-1 in season series. Montreal would beat Toronto 2-1 in season series. Winnipeg would host Toronto and Montreal would get the bye. 2. If Toronto wins and the Bombers Win Toronto would be 11-7 Winnipeg would be 10-8 Montreal would be 9-9 Winnipeg would host Montreal. Toronto would get the bye. 3. If the Bombers lose and Toronto wins, Montreal would host Winnipeg and Toronto would get the bye. 4. If the Bombers lose and Montreal wins, Toronto would host Winnipeg and Montreal would get the bye.

If BC isn't stupid, a lot of their starters SHOULDN'T get much playing time. They have 1st locked up.

I will be at that game in BC Place. I have to say, we get a ton of support for the Bombers out here in BC. The attendence at the games in the past (I have been to almost every game my Bombers have played here since I moved 10 years ago) have been 40% Bombers fans. Go Bombers Go!!!

I'd have a lot more faith in them if they had won a few big games this year. But stinking up the joint against the Alouettes with first on the line doesn't fill me with confidence. Losing to Hamilton (who does that???), and then barely beating them a couple of weeks back? Oy!

ok, but they beat calgary, yes they had nothing to play for but they played all of their starters. They only scored 3 points in the second half, that's a big win.

But can they do it with a home playoff spot on the line? On the road? In BC? Let's not forget the Lions aren't the Stamps. Now don't get me wrong, the Bombers are near and dear to my heart (ask my wife, who is actually coming around on the football thing) and they may very well romp under the dome. I just don't think it's a slam dunk. I'm thinking 40/60.
