ok, but they beat calgary, yes they had nothing to play for but they played all of their starters. They only scored 3 points in the second half, that's a big win. No doubt! But can they do it with a home playoff spot on the line? On the road? In BC? Let's not forget the Lions aren't the Stamps. Now don't get me wrong, the Bombers are near and dear to my heart (ask my wife, who is actually coming around on the football thing) and they may very well romp under the dome. I just don't think it's a slam dunk. I'm thinking 40/60. Good point, This team has been so inconsistent. I'm hoping that they have finally turned the corner and they can pull what Calgary did in 2001.

See, I don't look at a team that has won two in a row (the first over the worst team in the league and the second over a team that had little to play for) as "peaking". That's more like my minimum expectation. Had it been three slaughters in a row, with the offence romping and the D stifling for a full 60 minutes I'd be a lot more confident. ALL THAT ASIDE, I will say that I really don't think the BC game will matter a whole lot in the big picture (aside from the extra gate revenue that the Bombers could really use). Frankly, I think their chances of going to the final are about the same whether the semi is here or at home. They've shown themselves to be as good (maybe better) on the road. After all, they're 5-3 on the road and only 4-5 at home.

Yes, but that 4 - 5 record started to mount at the Hamilton game when Glenn gotKnocked out, and then Stegall got Hurt, didn't they play 3 out of 4 games at home around that time, if those guys were their, I would expect that record would be a least 5 - 4 then!

if hamilton can almost beat them with eakin at the helms, glenn with roberts armstrong and stegall should have no problem Not to be negative, but Hamilton almost beat US with Eakin in. I think it was 27 or 23 or something.

OK, so if their home record was 5-4 it would be the same as our road record if we lose in BC (5-4) or worse than the road record if we win in BC (6-3). It underlines my point that the Bombers chances are roughly the same if we play at home or on the road. m.

My point is that if they didn't get hurt, this teams record home and away probably would reflect even more wins, meaning the team is probaby better than 10 - 8 or 9 - 9 after the game in BC tonight.

Who the HELL voted NO, SHOW YOURSELFi was 1 who was the other-where is Jones now Number two here. I actually recorded the game to watch when I got home from a Halloween party and when I got here I found that Starchoice BLACKED OUT the game "in my area"! After a 40 minute wait on hold I got the original Village Idiot on the horn at Starchoice who proceeded to tell me that "the league blacks out the game - not us. It was blacked out because it wasn't sold out. I couldn't get it in Montreal here either!" Now, I don't suffer fools gladly so I pointed out that if that was the case NO ONE in the world would see the game so what was the point of broadcasting it??? I further pointed out that the game was on Shaw (at my buddy's place) and she said that sometimes the company doesn't block it. Didn't she just say it was up to the league??? I'm supposed to get a call from a manager today to discuss the matter. So what should I ask for as compensation? Three months free programming ? $100 in free pay per view? Any suggestions? m.

over-confident doesn't make your QB get injured, and it also doesn't make your back-ups (who are playing for their spots for next year) throw interceptions.
