Kincade is now strongly suggesting that Thrashers are already spoken for locally. "You can't give someone something that you have already given to someone else".
Perhaps the NHL's silence is just them waiting so they can officially announce the good news for Atlanta fans.

Wasnt going to post this, but BCMike retweeted this and its kind of interesting: @kidshowtime Jeff Marek of HNIC says if there was no game 7 tomorrow #thrasher move would be announced today. Apparently they are discussing it on Sirius ch 157 HNIC radio. Damn it - my Sirius is in the car, while I am stuck in the office. I listen to HNIC radio a fair bit. It's good, but they pretty much never talk about Return of the Jets stuff (but they did give the Moose - Bulldogs series some decent coverage). |

This is why Kincade hatched the idea of The Balkan. |

I say announcement on Friday. It makes so much sense. 3 day break from playoffs. Perfect timing. Make the announcement and then on to round 3 of the playoffs.
