I highly doubt that. AC/DC freaking rocks. Sorry if you guys all need soft music by some poetic freaky deaky people... Millions in ACDC albums sold speak differently! Rock on boys (PS: ACDC still sells more albums than half of the no talent, new-age bums pumping out new music) x2 ......and just a little tidbit o info: 200 million albums sold worldwide - and - Back in Black has sold an estimated 49 million units worldwide, making it the highest-selling album by any band and the second-highest-selling album in history, behind Thriller by Michael Jackson.....but ya....they have no talent Definitely wouldn't say they are talentless, but their music style is tired and derivative in this day and age.

i always found vancouvers intro to be weak and boring, fans make it good but a slow song wont pump fans or players

My opinion two. My left nut has more talent then AC/DC. I highly doubt that. AC/DC freaking rocks. Sorry if you guys all need soft music by some poetic freaky deaky people... Millions in ACDC albums sold speak differently! Rock on boys (PS: ACDC still sells more albums than half of the no talent, new-age bums pumping out new music) Quoted for truth!

Picture the crowd chanting "Jets!...Jets!...Jets! instead of Oi...Oi...Oi. Whatever song they pic, we as fans should come up with some unique parody on the lyrics.
And just like the team name, as much as you might want to come up with something new, it just makes sense to stick with what works. ACDC has "tough guy" lyrics, something you want as your entrance song.

My point too was that they have sold millions of catalogued albums in the last few years. Back in Black and others that are 30 years or more old still sell like crazy! I do agree with Domi's point though. Awesome songs but something with kind of a build up like Vancouver has would be really good. I still think Thunderstruck is just one of the most exciting songs there is, but it's already done by one if not several teams in the league.

I'm not suggesting these songs, but I'm surprised I haven't seen them listed (or maybe I missed them?):
"The Party Starts Now" - Manitoba's Wild Kingdom
"The Boys Are Back in Town" - Thin Lizzy
Just listing them for sh*ts & giggles...

They could play My Heart Will Go On by Celine Dion and the place would still erupt I would love it if they played that at the MTS Centre as the Coyotes came on the ice. m.

There is no doubt they have. AC/DC have found a sound that is very catchy and very radio friendly. That does not mean they have ANY talent what so never. KISS puts on a great live show. But without the costumes, fireworks million dollar stage there is nothing to them. Brain Johnson can't sing, Angus Young can play guitar but plays the same 3 chord riffs in every song. EVERY SINGLE SONG SOUNDS THE SAME. From the newest album to 20 years ago. They changed singers and they still sound the same. Could you imagine what AD/DC would sound like unplugged in a intimate setting. It would be aweful! Real music can be played fast, slow, guitar, piano, etc. Is it catchy and popular, yes, that does not make it good!

Wow, we have some quality music snobbery here at ROTJ.
What would be a fitting intro song off of SMiLE? All music snobs love Brian Wilson.

Maybe I've played a tad too much NHL 2010 on my PS3...but... I'm voting for... Nickelback - Burn It To The Ground !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! If I hear Jump by Van Halen...I'm gonna hurl!.....I'm 42...and even I know when enough is enough... NO MORE JUMP! ever!!!! NICKELBACK??? We should ban any Nickelback from the MTS Centre. They are the worst band in Canadian history. Now this is a goal song!
