Maybe they just believe in recycling and are gonna move to another city instead of throwing the team in the dump-lol They can go green all they want,I dont own any WOOSE product and never will as long as green and any form of brown are involved.Green is my most hated color and dont have anything green in my house. But I do have new Rider shirts that were given to me in the garage that make ex rags. And before someone says if its for an NHL team you would go green. And my response would be I'd rather put on Nucks orange or Kings purple and attend our NHL's team home game, never gonna happen.I'll buy a black hat with the logo but not much after that.Hell I even refuse to wear the Blue Bomber's blue the team has used since they switched from the 70's and 80's blue.

i don't think they have washed that Oscar the Grouch puppet since Sesame Street came on the air. I know he lives in a garbage can, but come on, throw the bugger in the wash once every decade. he must be teeming with disease. not a good example for the kids on hygiene. LMAO - I used to love him as a kid, but never thought I should live that way. In my opinion, it doesnt' really affect kids. Not me anyway.

Fans at last night's game clearly didn't get the memo to wear green. There wasn't a whole lot of it there. The WOOSE girls were wearing Jets jerseys.
I guess TNSE wanted to prevent a repeat of last year where there was a small controversy over whether Winnipeg should be doing whiteouts for the Moose. I don't know how smart it is to pick the colours of this city's most hated rival team, though, even if they do play another sport.

I dunno, I kinda get the not wanting to wear green cause of the riders. But rider green is pretty specific, if we wore a darker green I think it'd be okay.
To be clear though, I think the white-out is ours and don't think there should be any problem wearing white for Moose play-off games. Hopefully this is moot, and we're getting the NHL back for the fall and this won't even matter though.

^ I see gravys point... we are the white out for sure. I think it would be ok to do it for the moose, and it would really have a nice memory as well. I know it was for the Jets in the past, but hell, we are the "owners" of the whiteout... we can do it where ever and whenever we want!

The problem I see by going darker is,it doesnt show up very well in the stands and looks less impressive for me anyway. In the past I've never really noticed the sea of red in Cal and didnt know that Wash has been using red this year. The Orange crush Philly has used gets noticed by me a bit.White just gives it a pop cause one's eye notices it right away. And Im sure the players see it right away.

I was kind of hoping this season's slogan would be "First Fight, Wear White". Really though, believe in green is just bad, I heard that they switched the away jerseys to a green instead of black, which is stupid but allows people to buy green I guess. I'll never wear anything green to a Moose game, only because I don't find it a part of the team colours.

Done deal. Might as well Lock it. Interesting. Perhaps True North's marketing is not as infallible as some people think ...
