How many of you honestly cry because you miss our team so much?? I admit. I still do cry. I am a 21 year old man and that just shows how passionate I am about the Winnipeg Jets.

Winnipeg has the best fans in the world. Seriously, people who still cry for lost teams who have been gone for close to 15 years. Winnipeg= NHL Hockey. I love the Winnipeg Jets more than anything in this world.

I've never cried. I got mad and stayed bitter with the NHL for a long time.

I know that the day they announce the return of NHL hockey to Winnipeg, I plan on having to explain to everyone at the office why I am crying.

The last tear I cried was at the farewell, at the arena... Haven't cried a tear since then, except for that one tooth extraction, where the freezing didn't take -- I gave one up there.

I was 12 when they left, and as I had said before, yes I cried ... cried bad. Now I don't cry anymore, I am a little more bitter... but I can promise you when they come back ill be crying cause of happiness, not sadness. Yes the arena brought some tears.... i have to admit.

I was happy to see the old arena go. Would have been tears of joy more than anything to see it ripped down. We had some good times there and fond memories from the Jets, but after the Jets left it was a constant reminder that hanging onto it for so long was one of the key reasons for the Jets leaving.

I was 16 when the Jets left. I was happy to see the Arena go to, despite the memories I have of that barn.
I know I'll get teary-eyed when they announce the return of the team. I haven't really enjoyed the NHL since 96; I've been to two NHL games (Calgary & Edmonton). While it was nice to watch, just wasn't the same.

I was 28 when the jets left. I cried at the last playoff game against Detroit (damn that Federov). I recall standing next to that big tall, bearded, burly WEC security guard (I think you know which one I am talking of). While our Jets were skating around the Arena saluting the fans I looked back at him and he had tears in his eyes. It floored me that this big tough guy who I admired/feared all the years that I attended games was publicly showing emotion. I recall him going down the corridor to wipe away the tears. I remember it like yesterday.

I've never cried. I got mad and stayed bitter with the NHL for a long time.[/quote] Same with me. I actually stopped watching the NHL for a while, but got back into it after the Gold medal win in Salt Lake in 2002. Then there was the Flames run in 2004 and I was back.

My Dad is like that as well... still watches hockey but not nearly as much. He isn't so bitter anymore, just always says its not the same.

I was 19 when they left. I have not been interested in the NHL since '96.
I don't want some other team like Nashville to come here; I want our Jets that are currently taking an extended vacation in Phoenix.
In 2010 things have changed in the NHL and this WILL work. WHEN the Jets (and they better be the Winnipeg Jets) come back I'll never take them for granted again. Winnipeg, it won't be long now...

I want the Jets to return, but never cried. I cried when a person that I cared about was murdered in 2007, but never for the Jets.

I was in junior high when they left. I was a huge hockey fan. I pretty much stopped caring about the NHL once they were gone (I still liked a lot of players and teams, but I just felt betrayed by the league), and didn't really get back into hockey in a big way until the Salt Lake Olympics.
I didn't cry, although I was really upset at the farewell thing, but I was definitely pissed off, and I was too young to understand why, if the Jets had so many fans who loved them, they had to leave.
