wow, those are amazing pictures!!! I hope they have a big section in the new Manitoba Hall of Fame with these pictures!! Must have been a great time to be a Jets fan!

Those pictures bring back a lot of great memories for me. It almost feels like yesterday that I was actually at the old arena watching the WHA Jets. I was fortunate to be at the game when the Jets won their 2nd Avco Cup in 1978 against the New England Whalers. I also remember skipping school to go downtown to watch the Jets victory parades in 1976 and 1978 and getting several autographs from the players. It was a real good time to be a hockey fan in Winnipeg!
