Question #3: Do the circumstances surrounding Sheldon Souray's latest injury speak to the folly of fighting or the honour of the game?
Bob McKenzie: I think it's the honour of the game for Souray because it's a very specific thing that needed to be addressed and it was very personal between him and Jarome Iginla. It's unfortunate but if he didn't break his wrist there, he probably would have broken it fighting someone else.
Michael Peca: It's the honour. Hockey provides athletes with an outlet to settle your score. Hockey players by nature are extremely competitive people, and like I said they have the outlet to do it, and I have no problem with it. I had to deal with four guys beating me up on the top of the head after I hit Teemu Selanne in Winnipeg. When I went back to Winnipeg two months later, I had to face Dave Manson, Tie Domi and Stephane Quintal. It was a scary proposition.
