Bomber season has arrived,so I'm starting off with the 1988 Grey Cup that I just uploaded.
1990,some rookie by the name of Danny McManus throw's his first TD in the GC as a backup for the Bomber's.Even Sammy Garza got to play a bit as the third stringer and almost got a TD,didnt have enough space to add that though, just too many other TD's in the game.

nice video. but, IMHO the 84' Grey Cup was the most important one. it was that one that snapped a major drought for the bombers, not winning sinse 1966.

It was pretty big alright, being the first time they'd ever won it in my lifetime. 18 years between cups is a long time alright. Hard to believe the present drought is 19 years!

Actually it was a 19 year drought from being in the Cup (1965),and 22 years since they had won the 2 day Fog Bowl.(1962) I still have all the Sports sections from the games leading up to the Cup Think it was only the second time the Free Press front page pic was in color when they won it.The other being when the Pope showed up at Birds Hill park earlier in the year I believe,Yes it was a Huge deal at the time.........Who ya gonna call "BROCK BUSTERS!".....wish I had that game.
