I guess he acted like a little prick and got his big boy feelings hurt, refused to play vs Edmonton. Worked the problem out with Kelly (didn't like being the back up) then got into another screaming match with Kelly during a second meeting, asked not to come to practice, more then likely will not be playing vs the Stamps.
Expect a trade!
DAMN IT he is a good player too!

No pro sports figure should hold out like this guy did and ever expect to play again. Especially in team sports!
When a receiver came off the field Armstrong told him to go back on as he wasn't coming out.
Imagine finding that out during the bloody game!
Bombers have already coughed up $40,000 to him in bonuses, etc. this season.
While Kelly could be at fault for having problems with his ratio, there is no way a player should take this stand. So he's not on for the start of the game, big deal! Take one for the team and help them out when they have ratio problems.
When it comes to your own team, check your ego at the locker room door! When it comes to the opposition, make should to walk the talk!
Armstrong made himself, his coach and the community-owned football club look bad! And for that, he should never wear blue and gold ever again!
If a western team will take him (not Toronto nor Hamilton), then ship him out. I don't even care whether we get anything in return for him.
NIMBY! Chris
PS> Is it me or has Kelly had enough bad incidents in less than a year than most coaches have in their career? How many of these things will happen before the can gets tied to him too!?

The funny thing is this is so out of character for Armstrong. But like Coach Kelly said, you can't give him another chance after that display of bad behaviour otherwise he (coach) would be a hypocrite... so what do you do? TRADE! Too bad Derick ... just too bad.

Another result of Doug Berry's "let the players run the show" era of coaching.
No need for a primadonna on our team.
