As I ponder a final decision on Blue Bomber Season Tickets, I can't help but wonder what Bomber Ticket Prices were like in 1995-1996 era.
In 2009, the top ticket for Season Tickets is $65, $81 walk-up...
Other than the North End Zone, you can't get in the park for under $25/$32...
Does anyone have any ticket pricing info for the Bombers going back 13-14 years??
If the Bombers have an $81 ticket, is it crazy to imagine a $120-$140 top ticket for the "new" Jets???
Just a thought!

I dont know from back then but for the last 3 years ive found tickets from safeway for about $12/game...i used the seats once not terrrrible but not great. usually just stood at the field level gates which worked nicely. i can see that 120 140 range and it may happen at the new stadium once its done just because it is brand new...sucks

i paid 87 for seasons in the north endzone 4-5 years ago now i think they are 120-140. But i have since moved up to be paying 510 for seasons in the red zones. And i don't regret it even though i am not completely satisfied with the product, its a great time.

I don't know what the Bombers charged for ticket prices in 1995-96 (although I remember having a $99 student season ticket in Section S back then).
However, I have a pocket schedule from 1990, and back then tickets ranged from $11 to $24. "Agency fees" weren't more than a couple of bucks back then too. Jets tickets probably topped out around $40 back then as well.
As for the "new" Jets, I'm sure that the top tickets would be pushing $200. Nearly every team in the league has tickets topping out at that price range. The NHL pays huge salaries but barely gets anything for its TV rights, so the money has to come from somewhere. That somewhere happens to be tickets.

top Jets ticket will be between 150-200. Most likely just the first two rows around the rink.

Jets tickets were $12 to $50 in 94/95 according to the Shopper's Drug Mart calendar for that year. At least that was the plan before the lockout hit. Dunno if they ended up modifying any of those prices.

I don't know if this helps... but I remember the North End Zone being 12 bucks a ticket. The Student Section being 22 bucks a ticket! Not sure the years.. but I am guessing when i was 19-20 - so 6 or 7 years ago!
