In case you haven't noticed with all the negative articles and BJOB's constant Jets-bashing, chipman controls the media here because he is a huge advertising account. True, but nationally, he's a small drop in the advertising bucket. Scott Taylor would be all over it and once the Post breaks it, TSN, SportsNet, etc would be all over it. You couldn't cover up a scandal that big, because at the end of the day, its about newspaper sales and TV ratings. If it breaks big, the Sun and Press would have no choice but to cover it. Whether its unbiased coverage, though, is another matter

Whether its unbiased coverage, though, is another matter Not really, all they will do is rally to chipman's side because the money his businesses pour into all of the media outlets equals any newspaper sales they could generate. chipman can do no wrong in Winnipeg according to the media which has been proven when he blocked the WHL from coming here and not one person in the local media called him on his lie about letting the WHL into his building.
