I think its safe to say the 07 winner is one of those 8 personally im going with Anaheim, putting Chris Pronger on a team with Scott Nedimayer and some of the best young talent in the league creates one hell of a hockey team

I'm surprised you don't have San Jose on that list. A lot of people think that they will go far. But I too have picked the Ducks. If they do win, they'll be third team in a row to win the cup for a city that shouldn't have even been considered for NHL hockey.

I'm with Jiffy! The cup needs to be brought back to Canada! It is not yet time for it to come back to Montreal, we all know what Ottawa does in the playoffs, and Toronto aren't going to either. So in the west we have 3 really good teams, but of the 3 I think that Calgary has a little something (don't know if it is just Kipprusoff or not...) - maybe spirirt? - that could take them all the way. Plus Iginla is just such a great guy, he really deserves it after losing it to the lightning a couple years ago.

Calgary is gonna have to learn how to score before they will be lifting the Cup. I'm thinking San Jose is looking good this year. Hell, even Vancouver is looking good this year...

Buffalo Sabres I think are the strongest. I rather see Numminen win a cup instead of Selanne, thats right....I said it. Although Anaheim's goal tending is much stronger especially with the D in front of Giguere and Bryzgalov (when he's back).
Being an Oiler fan, I'm not overly pissed that Pronger jump shipped, but I don't think it's fair he jumped ship onto a Stanley cup winning team. Besides, I like Buffalo, always have.
I wouldn't have put the Oilers on the list. They'll be out in the first round.
