Pheonix is still the old Winnipeg franchise, gotta stay loyal, right? loyal? to who? I think you got that back-wards. Supporting that franchise, shows support to the owners who believed in plucking a franchise out of hockey town Canada and locating it in the dessert. Along with showing support of Gary Bettmans NHL dream IE:Carolina, Tampa Bay, Anaheim, PHOENIX etc... I know the Oilers were one hell of a pain in the a** in the 80's. But that team has always been respectable. Think about it, the Jets lost every year to the greatest dynasty in NHL history. On top of that, a "small" market Canadian team can have success on and off the ice. Having that kind of success in the past 10 years in the NHL deserves respect. Especially over a franchise that has become as pathetic as the Coyotes have been. OK. I'm done my rant. I'll sit down now.

I don't know who to cheer for, normally it would be the Oilers, but since they're facing our old team here in Winnipeg, I'm leaning towards the Coyotes.

I can't cheer for either, I am of the MIND to BOO PHOENIX, Would you support a girlfreind that left you for another guy, and then came back to you, I think not, well hopefully any of you guys with some backbone wouldn't, PHOENIX isn't our team, Edmonton is a hated rival, not just in Hockey, we can't win in the sense of who too cheer for. I would almost be inclined for us to yell and scream will the play is going on, and when someone scores the building goes dead SILENT!

If Edmonton gets even ONE cheer......it will be the clearest indication of just how far down in the gutter the City of Winnipeg (speaking hockey-wise) has gone since the Jets left.
