I am thinking of upgrading my computer soon and look to sell some of my current hardware.
I'm wondering what I should even get. Whether to go for the AMD Athlon 64 or Intel P4 Prescott. It's a tough decision although AMD is winnining. Also, if I have enough cash from selling my parts, I'll get a new ATI video card hopefully with PCI Express.
I have the following
Geforce 4 Ti 4200 (128 Meg) ATi AIW Radeon 9700 Pro (128 Meg) ATi AIW Radeon 8500DV (64 Meg) ATi Radeon 7500 (64 Meg)
AMD Athlon 1600+ with CPU cooler Epox 8KHA+ Socket A Motherboard Soltek 75FRN-L Nforce 2 Socket A MOtherboard
Computer case with side plexiglass middle fan window and Temperature sensors with front LED display.
If anyone is interested in my computer parts or wants to give some ideas on what I should get including examples or experiences with your current new systems, then speak up.

AMD 64... I wont touch Pentium with a 10 foot pole! lol
AMD is quality, and I'm all about the quality, so get an AMD! Especially if you play games at all, AMD is the only way to go.
FOr video card I prefer ATI as well.
What shop do you plan on going to?

I usually deal with the good people over at Itech or Corey's computing but I haven't bought anything from Corey's since they moved. Itech has been the place that I like to get from lately.

Wow... I've never even heard of Itech... I get from Corey's as they have decent prices and good service, if you are looking for cheap prices, check out eBay! Id be iffy for warranties, and such though... But then again, how often have you had computer stuff fail on you?

Itech is a few dollars cheaper than Corey's and I seem to have a raport with those guys. They seem to make me good deals.
Just need to sell a few things myself to help finance this next upgrade which is long overdue.
I won't deal with EBay at all. Just not my cup of tea.

If you're a gamer make sure you get Half-Life 2... Amazing game!
I'm a little iffy on buying electronics via ebay... however there are alot of things that are fine to buy though.
