it was a good game.
sad to see the moose lose in OT...
ah, who am i kidding, i was cheering for rochester. i was the one with the sabres jersey.
first couple periods sucked, but both teams ramped up the intensity in the third and made the game alright.
good to hear the go jets go cheers !!!

LOL that game wasent even have decent. What a brutal game that was. Passes were off, guy's were missing the puck, the crowd was into the game, the timbits hockey between the first intermission was more entertaining then the moose game. After the game it was good to hear a couple guy's scream Moose suck Go Jets. The section I sat in with my gf was filled with young kids that wouldent shut up for the whole game and a bunch of old people that stunk like shiit. Like seriously I looked to my left there was an old guy that smelled awful I looked to my right and there was a bunch of little kids that wouldent shut up for the whole game. I looked down and the average age of the people were 50plus. There was no atmosphere at all during the game it was simply the most boring game I've ever went to. The last thing I have to say before I go is the Moose suck the fans suck the hockey sucks, Please Please bring back the Jets I cant stand watching hockey with a bunch of old timers and little kids.

Well said Jetblood. The tix were free, but I still feel like I got ripped off. I simply cannot "get into" or be entertained by watching 2 sports teams I couldn't care less about. It might as well have been Zimbabwe vs. Australia in an exhibition hockey game. I did jokingly (well.. maybe half-jokingly) cheer for Rochester though, because my hatred for the Moose is that strong. "Go Vancouver Canucks prospects, Go!" Yeah, GO.... away. I've said it before and I'll say it again: The MTS Centre: Just an expensive place to drink until the Jets return.

From the sound of the radio, it sounded like a pretty good game. Kelly Moore was screaming.. probably making up for the lack of intensity on the fans part. The Moose had every opportunity to win that game! One word boys.. CHOKE ! Take a page from the Wheat Kings and try to go on a 15 game win streak. *Ryan Kesler is still my homeboy*

I would put money on the Wheat Kings over the Moose. Atleast they play with the hearts. Not like the Moose. They had the game and they choked big time but what can you expect from a bunch of bums.

Why should the Moose bust their Go Jets Go? No chance of being called up to Vancouver this year... I can't see what would motivate them...

Someone has got to do something about those pesky brats that annoy the hell out of other fans. I was ready to choke out this 40 yr old guy, since he sat and did nothing while his kid was kicking my seat. Not all of the kids are that annoying, but it sure seems like it. A Moose game must somehow trigger ADD in children...

That ALWAYS happens to me... not just at hockey games either.
I think I'm cursed.
And the worst part is, I'm too nice to turn around and say something...

Why should the Moose bust their Go Jets Go? No chance of being called up to Vancouver this year... I can't see what would motivate them... That is excactly why they should play their asses off. They can finally play with and keep the chemestry without worrying about going to the big time... They interviewed the players when Bettman first locked the players out. All of the players were looking forward to it, and thought their chances this year were the best they've had. Maybe its changed now, but I would find it better to play with the same guys all year... was alot better with the IHL =\ but oh well... another reason (which yes has been mentioned quite often) why WHA would make alot of sense to come here. You are at the top of that league, no call ups, you play your best here or you don't play... blah sometimes i don't make sense ;D

"Bunch of bums"? Want to say that to their faces? What a ridiculous comment; they're playing hockey for a living, working their way up to the NHL, or simply playing, even with no chance to make the bigs anymore, because they love the game. What is it, something like 80% of NHLers have played in the AHL? 100 Hall of Famers? Not too shabby for a "bunch of bums". www.edmontonoilers.com/pressbox/index.php?release=20040723_1682NHL teams choke all the time, and AHL teams have great seasons, even when the NHL is going on. There's no correlation there.

Yeah but when you're sliding you're sliding.. it's one thing to lose a game 5-0. But to be up 4 different times and to end up losing is tough to swallow. People do have a right to be pissed off there. I'm sure they'll break out of it and I won't be so grouchy when it comes to the Moose anymore. As for the kids, I hate this. I have a mini pack and there are always the same kids sitting behind me screwing around and asking me stupid questions. Hey dolts, watch the hockey game. When did hockey become so Mickey Mouseish. When I went to Saskatoon there were kids litterally swearing at the refs. Though I do think that this is crossing the line, they should have more passion for the game than their precious ice cream sandwich they just caught. Oh yeah and leave me the hell alone you brats!

Still, there are better records out there (hence why we're in 6th). If we don't stop the slide we could see ourselves on the outside looking in come playoffs!

I don't think the playoffs are in doubt. 6th in the whole league isn't bad at all. They're in a bit of a funk right now, but only the best teams in any sport go a whole season without a blip on the radar screens. No one's suggesting that the Moose are one of the best teams ever, though. And to suggest that with every losing streak, the commitment to winning is lost is plain stupid.

I cant stand watching hockey with a bunch of old timers and little kids. That is a very ignorant opinion. My Dad is 50 plus and I will go to games with him because he loves hockey. Just because you are an "oldtimer" doesn't mean you aren't entitled to the right to go to a game. Also, Winnipeg has an older population, that will only get older. These "old timers" will help get/keep the Jets in Winnipeg. Just because one isn't acting like a loogan, doesn't mean they aren't enjoying the game. One day you will be an "old timer" too, just remember that.
