It's too bad the teacher didn't knock that idiot's teeth out. This may sound weird, but I personally wouldn't have too many objections if school divisions brought back "the strap". If parents are too irresponsible to disclipline their kids, someone should.

Man, that kid is lucky all he got was his chair pulled out from underneath him... Of course the students are such victoms here, and of course the video starts with the teacher yelling. I am sure the 5 minutes before were all the kids egging the teacher on beyond belief, pushing all of his buttons as i am sure they have practiced many times already thought the year. But still, such victoms... Had his chair pulled out from under him!!! I couldn't imagine hopw brutal that must be!!!! Sarcasum ends here.

It doesn't matter. The teacher should be in control of his class. I went to school with a bunch of antagonists. In a lot of classes when the teachers didn't pay them any attention they'd just stop being idiots. This teacher is a disgrace. If I were the kid I would have spit in his Go Jets Going face. Maybe back in Joels day abusive punishment was the way to go, but now adays with everything being politically correct it's nothing but Go Jets Go, this guy should be fired.

I'm only 28...LOL I admit the teacher was unprofessional, but to the majority of people who see that video would agree the kids were out of line. You have to respect authority, as a few bad apples are disrupting the whole class. That just punishes the kids who want to learn....

I'm 18.. bring back the strap. I think it's justified, in a more politically correct world, more people have gone wrong.... Parents suck now, baby boomers gave their kids too much freedom. My parents were stricter, which turned out good.

Haha, my parents are strict too. Sure discipline them but there has to be a line. There are certain unalienable truths in this world. One of which is there's no changing people. These kids will continue their antics whether they're disciplined or not. They realize that they're KIDS! That's what kids are supposed to do. I'm sure I could have had way more fun over the years had my parents let me go out. I didn't start partying till I was almost 18. If you discipline kids and take away their right to be kids then you're taking away the best years of their lives. Hey Joel, you're half way to the big 50!
