I hate the Maple Laffs, so this makes me laugh.
I also hate the Roughriders.
'nuff said.

Toronto cannot win in a league more than 6 teams deep, now they cannot win unless there is only one. Yet people think they are some sort of storied franchise.
Excuse me while I laugh at the eastern answer to the 90's Jets...

Excuse me while I laugh at the eastern answer to the 90's Jets... During the 1990s, the Winnipeg Jets made the playoffs 4 of 7 years, never making it past the first round. Toronto has made the playoffs in 10 of the past 12 years, reaching the Conference Finals 4 times, and the second round 3 times and have consistently sold out game after game. Sure, Toronto hasn't won it all for some time, but they've done a lot more than Winnipeg ever did.

The leafs sell out on their past and their past alone. The Jets won 3 championships in the 1970's and were considered by all outlets consensus world champions in 1978. When was the last time the leafs won ANYTHING again?
Didn't think so...

When was the last time the leafs won ANYTHING again? Didn't think so... I'm not talking about the Jets of the WHA, they're irrelevent to this. The NHL Jets of the 1990s, which you yourself brought up, hardly did anything compared to the Leafs of the past 12 years.
