Maybe when he learns how to kick the ball through the uprights in November I may start to like him a little. Until then ...

westwood is one of the most consistent bombers on the team. he had a bad grey cup game in 2001 but other than he has been very good. how about that 55 yarder to win the game against those damn riders.

He's not a punter, he's a kicker.
If he were a punter, he'd have handled those duties again last year. But he didn't.

i know this won't be popular but here goes anyway...
i think goodenow is a tremendous lawyer and has done an amazing job for what he was hired to do.
i think if he had gone the NHL management route ( like his former partner brian burke) and was hired to run the NHL, the NHL would be in tremendous shape and fiscally strong. he's a "hockey guy" who happens to be a tremendous lawyer. he captained his Harvard team his senior year, and played two seasons in the minors.
Gary Bettman has Go Jets Go envy when it comes to Goodenow. That's why he tabled his $ 42.5 million cap with no linkage deal as "take it or leave it". He wanted to be seen as getting the better of Goodenow.
If Goodenow was hired to run the NHL instead of Bettman, I wholeheartedly believe that there would be massive revenue sharing amongst owners, an enjoyable product on the ice, and a team in Winnipeg.

Name one PLAYOFF gaim that westwood has come through for us in. From the official Bombers website: "He holds the CFL record for the best career field goal percentage in the playoffs (85.1%)."

Name one PLAYOFF gaim that westwood has come through for us in. When they played the Ti-Cats, in Hamilton, eastern-semi. Kicked the winning feild goal with no time left on the clock. That was exciting! Too bad we got killed by Monreal the next week.
