Resurrect Select-a-Seat, or a reincarnation, since everybody the world over hates Ticketmaster. THAT way agency fees for any event at the MTSC could at least go toward the team.
If this is too expensive, is it possible to charge Ticketmaster for the opportunity to handle single-game ticket sales or is this already done? I know you can skirt agency fees quite easily by getting single game Moose ticktes through their office, so I'm not too sure why teams consiently choose to also have this handled through a separate agency, especially one that's so despied. (I'm guessing convenience and time management)

It definatly is for convenience. I've been on teams that have converted places in winnipeg to have their own box office and it really isn't worth the troubles. Yes ticketmaster takes more than they should, but for what they do and the image they have, it's worth it. Any local box office would crash if there was ANY sort of rush for tickets, it would end of being an embarrassment and turn people away.
