I was in Montreal early in the week and on Tuesday night, watched the Sens-Bolts game at 3 Brasseurs in the old city. It wasn't the CBC feed in English but the RDS (French TSN) broadcast with announcers in a Montreal studio calling the game with a OLN (US) feed. Commercials and lead-in/out graphics were RDS, in-game it was OLN.
Since many road games by the New Jets will probably have "local" US cable coverage, it would be economical to use their video feed with the game called from Winnipeg. We could possibly have all road games covered in combination with TSN/SportsNet, CBC and remote coverage.

In other words the New Jets would essentially own the production of the games? In this case they could sell/distribute the games in a lot of creative and presumably lucrative ways.

It's more likely that the Jets would get an over-air deal like the Oilers and Flames have with the A Channel. But given costs, using the road game host feeds (with our own announcers at home) will save on expenses. This wouldn't apply to their TSN or SportsNet cable games, nor HNIC.

Vancouver uses the radio feed for audio and Host city's video feed for their road PPV's. There are no commercials and they go to the studio for intermissions and on-ice breaks.
