Why don't we just take every single thing that each team in the NHL does and do that.

Get a life. Seriously.
I come up with serious ideas, and people like you have to ruin this section because you can't come up with your own.

Why don't we just take every single thing that each team in the NHL does and do that. I think that would be a great reference to our cause, if we researched how each NHL team adds revenue...

BT honestly a lot of the ideas you come up with, are already being used in the league by other teams.
I.E. PREMIUM GAMES - Montreal and Vancouver already do this.
WEBCASTS - lots of teams do this, every game is already free on NHL.com (audio only)
JETS TV - Leafs TV
I'm not saying these aren't great ideas, they're just already done. So if we just went to every teams web site, including NFL, MLB ans the NBA there would be 1000's of ideas. And it's not just you. There are others here that I'm sure have surfed the web, seen something and posted it here.
Here's a new one, the Minnesota Wild do this. At the main entrance they have a silent auction of memorabilia. The visiting team has something, but it's mostly autographed Wild stuff. At the Leafs game the had one of the original scoresheet's from Sittler's 10 point game.
Also in the silent auction, the 2 highest bidders get to ride on the Zamboni during first intermission. Same for the second.
How is it I'm ruining the section by saying we should do as much as we can.

Y'see, THAT is creative thinking. THAT is what should be in this section of the message board!
Not "hey guys, let's just, like, combine ALL the revenue sources together 'n stuff. Heh heh."
Lame, man!

It's not exactly creative, it's taking something, someone else does, and doing it yourself. Which is what my point was. Tour the leauge, get ideas from them, and implement the best ones.
Kind of like the WHITE OUT. It was started to counter the sea of red in Calgary. Winnipeg never came up with the idea, we just tweeked it and it took off. Notice that the last Flames Playoff run they never even did it.

We need to do everything that every other NHL team does, and more
