Do we still have the entertainment tax? If we do - it doesn't seem to be impacting the concerts we're getting. Anyhow, maybe the city would use that money to help pay for players salaries / travelcosts / whatever

This is a great idea I havent thought of that But I'm sure there is many way's Chipman and True North can get around paying for some of the taxxes.

I believe the deal with True north is that the tax is waived for the MTSC.

True North got a SWEET deal from the city...
In a way it ticks me off... it's sooo much better than the awful one Katz got for Canwest Park.
