Read in the Globe and Mail this morning that Vancouver's deal with Rogers Sportsnet pays them $250,000/game for 35-40 games. Toronto's deal with Sportsnet is for $450,000/game! Obviously, we won't get Toronto or even Vancouver money, but say $200k/game for 25 games is $5M in the bank!

Our viewership might be more like half of Vancouver at like $125,000 per game....BUT
if we had a deal like Edmonton, where Edmonton agrees to show their games on Sportsnet for FREE... or actuallly I think they even pay Sportsnet a bit of $$$. But then Edmonton keeps a chunk of the commercial revenue.

Cant find any solid #'s but as a comparison I found this.
The NHL will earn about 7 percent of its projected $2.1 billion in revenue this year from national television contracts in the U.S. and Canada, and another 16 percent from local TV contracts, the league says. Gate receipts will account for 57 percent.
