A new Winnipeg NHL team could have a "Merchandise Catalog" available via their new website or by simply writing the team and requesting one!
Now this could be made available for free or a very small fee.
But, again, ANYONE on the planet would be able to get their hands on one of these! Just write to the Jets and request one; either through snail mail, fax, or their official website!
A ton of people with this catalog = A ton of potential revenue

There's just no end to your ideas dude....you should put this all in print, copyright it all...and send it to Mark Chipman, or David Asper might be an idea. Titled..."for your reading pleasure, should this become viable...."

lol, thanks Dreamweaver.
I just really really hope they're aware of them... maybe Darren can "Pass these along" to Chipman if they meet up again...

I think every sports team has had a merchandise catalog for years, I used to get a Blackhawks catalog every year in the 70's when I lived in Chicago, nothing new here sorry to say

Pfft... what - it's not a "new" idea therefore its garbage?
I don't remember the old Jets having anything like this.
Think about it... available on their website... for anyone on the planet... for a small fee...
That's money in the bank.

I don't believe I said it was garbage, but I certainly wouldn't pay for a catalog, even River City has a free website, I just don't see the catalog itself as a huge source of revenue, or any of the merchandise, which has to split among the whole league. Of course for the first year Jets, that would be huge, but after that, it is something they should count on, certainly not a new source. I have liked some of your other ideas though
