While our attention is currently on a new stadium for the Winnipeg Blue Bombers, I thought it would be interesting to post pictures of our favourite stadiums. So please let me introduce: Carrow Road (capacity 26,032) Home to the famous Norwich City Football Club. Like most footy stadiums in England, it has been upgraded and added onto over the decades, giving it an individuality like no other. A truly spectacular stadium that would look great in the City of Winnipeg. Notice the real green grass. On The Ball City!

soccer stadiums are by far the nicest stadiums in the world. I went on some tours when I was over in the UK. Insane. I really wanted to huck a loogie on Beckhams old dressing room booth at Trafford. Some of the newer NFL stadiums would contend, though and have much better sightlines for football (no sh*t, eh?)

It should be, it only took'em 4 years to rebuild the old girl. Not something that'll be seen in Winnipeg/Canada/North America anytime soon. I still love me 'carra rud'! Voted to have the third best food in Europe. Now maybe we should have Delia Smith buy into the Bombers and David Asper into the Canaries. Hmmmmmmmmmmmm. On The Ball City!

Lol lets not get out of line here boys thats not going to happen ... Our stadium is going to look very similar to Aspers proposal. The only concern about his proposal is the fact its $125M and I just don't see it being "world class" stadium for that price... I'd say it'll turn out to be more adequate but not as good as the MTS Centre.
Traditionally Football stadiums are more expensive then Arenas is that not true?

Most NFL stadiums contain a lot of shite that would never be needed here as well as twice the seating. I think $125 mil sounds about right for what we're looking at. The fact that it's only one level makes a big difference.

The stadium that Asper is proposing looks nice. A scaled down version of Seattles stadium is a great idea.

I'd say it looks more like Lambeau Field only with a tarp over top it!!
