Tough decision eh I'm 100% for a new stadium/refurbished Canad Inns... however, not at the expense of the Jets returning!

Just a thought,if a new stadium was built would it possibly send a meesage to others that Wpg's movers and shakers are doing something in the city. And that it says their is money in Wpg,and that they could support the NHL's return.
What are you a politician BT,the way the ask the question its sounds like your hideing something.I think it should have read NEW not Renovated Stadium.Didnt realize you ment new until i read the full post-----LOL

^ Well wpgthunder, I honestly still don't understand if Asper was proposing a BRAND NEW stadium or just a majorly renovated Canad Inns... it's being built on the *same* exact site as Canad Inns, so I just assume it wouldn't be 100% new...

I guess if I HAD to pick one or the other, I would pick an NHL team, but why not both?
I dont think refurbishing the Stadium would be at the expense of a possible NHL team. How many times has David Asper been linked with bringing an NHL team here anyways?
