Congrats to the Bombers on their victory.
However, Troy Westwood did everything he could to lose this game. With a league low field goal rating and average-at-best punt kicking, can we all agree that this should be his last year in Winnipeg??

I'm not sure. The coaching staff can't be Go Jets Go, he must do something right in training camp to win the job, otherwise, yes, he would have been gone a long time ago. That said, he sucks after training camp, every year. I think indeed it should be his last year in Winnipeg, we should sign a kicker out of one of the US Colleges.
P.S. I was off on Westwood after that 8 yard punt a few years ago in the playoffs.

Yes Yes I am sure he will... I just want to see some massive improvement with the offensive line and then i will stop the B IT CH IN.... Westwood needs to be put in the "back of the bus"

Westwood will miss kicks he should make (41yds with the wind), but then he'll hit ones that are a lot more difficult (40yds against the wind), but he has been good at punting this year 44.2 avg. He just needs to work on his angling.

How old is that guy? How long has he been around? Westwood should not be considered a project where the coaches can work with him. His skills have deminished. This has to be his last year. Maybe he stays for punts and back-up place kicking, but that game was very close to a loss and if it was a loss, the TNS turning point would have been Westwood missing a field goal AGAIN!

Troy boy blew some vs. Montreal and is sitting at an unacceptable 70% or so. But he did nail the winning points last week in a huge game, so I won't boo him tonight.

The only reason that kick was the "winning points" was because he blew two others!!!

he made 100% of his kicks last night, both from 43 yards out

he made 100% of his kicks last night, both from 43 yards out and against the wind. Now tell me why after every loss this season when looking back at the stats, it shows that Charles Roberts was under utilized. 12 carries for 69 yds thats over 5yd per carry. Glenn was horrible this game, everytime he threw to Milt it was either picked or knocked down.
