we had NO O-line, and I don't remember seeing a whole lot of charles roberts in the game, it doesn't matter who we have at QB WE HAVE TO GIVE THE BALL TO ROBERTS!!!!

Since my gf and ALL of her family are from Saskatchewan, I get to hear ALL about the game tonite. I'm trying as hard as h**l to kick my banjo picken Saskatchewan girlfriend onto the couch tonite. But like the bombers, my attempt to win that battle has crumbled shamefully and I'm stuck on the couch with a tearful beer and blue jersey to console me.

That was a poorous effort on both sides of the ball tonight.
We got completely destroyed at the line of scrimmage and that's how we lost coupled with terrible miss-tackling and big penalties early in the game.
I just hope our team gets their act together for Banjo Bowl or we're in serious trouble!

Seems we're all losing alot of Battles here in Bomberland lately, on and off the field!

They have to shake things up somehow. I know all of you are gonna jump on me for saying this, but I heard an idea from a friend that didn't sound so bad to me.
Here's the concept. With Glenn playing very well right now, his stock is very high. With Maas playing so bad in Hamilton, his stock is very low. That being said, Maas is a very accomplished CFL QB, and could definitley flourish in the Bomber offence. So, do we offer Glenn for Maas? I'm not sure, it doesn't sound bad, but I don't think we should.
Keep in mind that Maas' supporting cast isn't helping him out any, and that he has been playing hurt all season.
Let me know what you think of this idea.

its a good idea for the begining of a season, because that'll give the QB enough time to get aquainted with the offense and the offense with him. With that said I don't think Hamilton would do that trade since most believe that Maas is better than Glenn.

We spent the weekend in Regina and saw the game. I have to say the RR fans were very gracious and generous with the free beers (Pilsner, which acually isn't a bad brew!). That said, if you think Winnipeggers are cheap, you should meet some of the Gappers out there (not all, but...). I was selling my extra tix ($52 face value, 7th row on the Riders side) and I had a bunch of offers of $20-25 each! For the hottest tix to a sold out game. Evenually unloaded the pair for $130 (gotta cover my costs!) but I had to split them up. My tale of woe... m.
