A new stadium would also have potential to be used for concerts...and the Manitoba Moose fan club because there's so many of them.

lol!
Actually I think the current Moose fan club meets in the basement of some bingo hall in the north end. At least, that's what I heard.

I heard it's going to be built near Headingley, I'm around there, so I support that location, lol, but is it very practical for everyone else in the city??

the stadium gets used by the bombers 10 times a year for games, but they hold 5-6 practices a week from may-october, they have soccer games played there, the winnipeg rifles play there, the highschool football leagues plays a TON of games there, theres the occasional concert, etc. plus if the right location is found the bison may start playing there too. if you put in a real grass turf the tenents are limitless. that allows rugby soccer and other sports to be played on it at high levels. a grass field would most definetly guarentee at least 1 game from the rugby churchhill cup, and with edmonton replacing their natural turf with would likely mean we would hold the churchhill cup final(if you don't know the churchhill cup is an international rugby tournament involving us, canada, england, ireland, wales, and others). with the option of soccer games being played there it opens up winnipeg to host a fifa game for the under 18s tournaments and stuff basically what i'm saying is that there really is a lot going on currently and that could be going on that alot of people don't know about. plus the stadium design involves lots of conference space, a hotel and a waterpark, basically opening up the clientelle(sp?) to almost anyone.

I lost interest in Yogi's post's ever since he said Kevin Glenn was a starting QB. I figure, if he thinks that, how can any other post about anything be credible, or even worth my time reading.
