Okay does everybody remember when the world juniors were just south of the boarder and all the jets chanting and jerseys were a big topic of conversation with the broadcasters even ON-AIR! perhaps the only way to draw more attention to get the jets back is a roadtrip. Us Faithfull to the jets can rent a big bus, seat 50 people in it and take a trip down to watch a Pittsburg home game. We need to find a televised game if possible and were Only shirts, jerseys, hats and have signs. The camera's will be on that and even if it isnt a on air game it will sure make the highlights and the discussion tables on sports talk shows. That will proove how much we love our jets and how much we want them back. All in favour?

I do like the idea but someone would have to make all the arrangements and plan it all.

I could just imagine the warm reception you would receive from the other 16,000 plus Penguins fans!

I wonder how many friends I could make with them.

I like the idea...a trip to Minnesota might be cheapest and easiest to fill a full bus. Make sure it is a Canadian team they are playing and also on tv. Or a Calgary HNIC game would be OK...it's only about 11-12 hours by bus and I truly think that most Canadian hockey fans (in Calgary) would support our cause in returning the Jets. Then again, might be tough to get 40 tickets to either of these cities...

it be best to go to a place with a struggling team to get more attention, even more so if they're playing a canaian team(vancouver to prove our seriousness?)

This would be great to see, but it would be near impossible to get seats in Calgary. Minnesota is sold out as well I believe. If people were serious I could check with an owner that I know in Calgary and see if there was any possibility of getting seats for a game. Still doubtful though, most games only have single tickets left, but maybe a company that has a bunch of seats would be willing to help us out. How far is Chicago, they have lots of seats available.

Or we can all log onto ticketmaster repeatedly during the flames playoff run.... Wait, nope, that didn't work for me 2 years ago either. I couldn't even get a fricking single to any game....I tried probably for about 8 home games and no luck.

i think it would be poor taste to do this in pittsburgh. they're losing their team after all.
i would definitely love to be a part of any jetsowner contingent to minneapolis, calgary or edmonton trip though.
it would be great to send our message out, but let's do it where it is deemed positive. i know if fans from phoenix would've come here in '95-'96 it would be hard not to kick there GO JETS GO !!
(of course, this hypothetical presumes the coyotes ever did, or ever will, have fans)
