It's hard to say for sure due to how unpredictable the AHL can be (i.e callups, trades, etc). The Moose have been very competitive over the last few seasons and it is looking good early on this year. It sure would be nice to see them hoist the Calder Cup next Spring.
On a side note about the Moose, I am disappointed that they changed their jerseys last year. They used to have one of the best in all of hockey until the change. With the exception of color scheme and logo, the jerseys are just a clone of other teams (one of them being Syracuse). I wish they would go back to the look of the 2006-07 season as they had more of a traditional appearance to them.

The Moose are doing incredibly well so far -- but I don't want to jinx them! They're paying Jason Krog (last year's AHL regular season and playoff MVP) $700K, and they're paying Michel Ouellet close to about $600K not to be "just a farm team" but to WIN. Now that they're dual affiliates with Dallas and Vancouver, this could very well be the year! Dallas has sent down some pretty good players recently (Neal, Fistric) which have helped in the current success (for those interested, the Moose have only lost 3 games so far, out of 14 played). Cory Schneider has won 9 games in a row, which certainly isn't too shabby!

The Moose just had a huge celebration of Minor League Hockey, having a huge picture taken at centre ice! Who's the guy in the Jets jersey

Same question as White-Out -- how much? $750 each, cash only. Oh no, wait, that's what I'd charge (and get) if they were JETS tickets and they had a record like the Mooses (Moose's? Moosilli? Moosi?). For quality, desirable members of the board, no charge (hey, we're all buds here!). For you two, make me an offer and we can haggle! Seriously though, no charge. I'm still working on the wife to get her to go but I'll know within a few hours if I'll be at the game or cooling my heels here at home. m.

Minor Hockey Night (Sat. Mar. 28) was a sellout... Only went to it cuz I tried to get Mike Keane Bobblehead day, but it was sold out. Went to a game back in November and attendance that night was 13,500! Has an AHL team ever come close to passing NHL teams in attendance?? (Other than Chicago vs Chicago in the dark days)

There were a fair number of empty seats. I'm sure all the tix were sold but it'd be nice if "attendance" meant "actual attendees" rather than tickets sold. Good on the Moose though. m.

I don't know where your getting this from... I was at the game friday and it was filled right up! And the game was awesome! The Providence Bruins came back to tie the game with 20 seconds left and it went to the shoot out. Had a blast considering it was my first moose game in over a year!

It was a great game though, seesawed back and forth, a decent fight, and the beer lines were shorter than usual. But some seats were empty. m.

It looked crowded to me, but not full -- unless those empty seats filled in while I was watching the game...
