Chris and I were at the game with thedeuce, and we all made the same observation. It looked crowded to me, but not full -- unless those empty seats filled in while I was watching the game... Thanks Phil, I was hoping you'd have my back! m.

Maybe they consider selling out the lower bowl (which is usually all that's open for Moose games, I think) a sellout? 8800 sounds about right for that, no?

Yep, the upper bowl was closed so 8800 is considered a sellout, and I'm sure that all the tix were sold. Just some no-shows, that's all. But it'd be interesting and informative to know just how many tickets were used in addition to how many were sold. m.

For those who don't know what the building is like for a Sold-Out Introduction, Anthems, etc.. What you see on the "Picture in Picture" is what was broadcast on the Jumbotron: www.moosehockey.com/moosetv.php?video=420

Did any of you get one of these? ( Your Name On The Back ) Very Classy move on the part of True North. I know it's not much but, still that little something extra they do is pretty cool!

Moose are done. 3-2 in OT.
Hamilton crowd - 2791. Saw part of the game on Shaw TV - embarrassing for city of Hamilton in my opinion. Looked like a WHL exhibition game. Brutal.

A photo of a Manitoba/Hamilton game I attended earlier this month. I know AHL attendance isn't the only factor but they have a first place team this year and the only reason their attendance is over 4,000 for the regular season was due to two games at the Bell Centre that drew 14,000+. Anyways, the Moose put up a great fight and if the two overtime games had gone their way they could have been on their way. If it was the last set of Moose games ever at least they gave it a fight.

Hamilton has always had lousy fan support for the Bulldogs.
I know a lot of you don't give a crap about the AHL, but I'd be embarrassed as a Winnipegger if Moose crowds looked like that.

Hamilton Bulldogs are more than likely moving before 2010 OR after next season. Reason: Lack of Fan Support
Doesn't help trying to get an NHL Franchise in your city when; there is little to no support for an AHL Franchise forcing them to move....Not exactly a good trend and yet another reason idiots like "Blackthorne" are wrong with their DO NOT SUPPORT THE MOOSE attitude!
The Moose & everything that goes with it are what make Winnipeg look good to the NHL.

My thoughts exactly, tho having gone to games 3 and 4 here the attendance should have been better than it was..too may empty seats for playoff games imo. I went to the last reg season game and if I recall correctly there were appox. 10 thousand there.

Does anyone think that if the Coyotes come here and then the Moose move, that it would be to Thunder Bay? The largest arena in Thunder Bay seats only about 3,500, which seems much too small for an AHL team.
