You still haven't given me (or anyone else) 1 reason why you trust Chipman.
Not one.

You still haven't given me reason not to trust him. No, the arena doesn't count. And neither do your "reliable" sources. For a guy who posts so much you should really provide links to back up your claims

It's exhausting talking with you You like the Moose, love the Washington Capitals and once told me "I don't even CARE if the Jets come back." Maybe I'm fighting dirty, but I'm tired and cranky.

then my job is done. I'm sorry man but there's 2 sides to every story. Especially ones with no backing or proof of your argument.

Heres my take on the take known as TN. To do so just look at the Crocus gang and how much money was owed to Crocus by the Chipman Group. Crocus needed money real bad. The Arena project was a plan to recoup a huge chunk of cash by Crocus. Chipman got a new $89 million dollar arena with basically none of his own money down. The $133 million cost used by many includes all the other infastructure costs ie skywalks & road repairs etc, including a big chunk to the Chipman Group for mananging the construction for PCL. $40million in gov't freebies, $60million CU loan, value for the Moose hockey team etc. I would be willing to bet the Chipman group contributed less than $4million cash to the project and I would be willing to bet he did not guarantee the CU mortgage. The mortgage payments are being made by the 10% entertainment tax they were given by the city as part of the deal. No business and property taxes to pay. Although I do not support the Chipman control of our tax funded building, it is hard to blame him for taking what our visionless government officials gave him. Both our city and provincial governments are truley useless.

Well fact is that in the end it was a 15000 capacity arena. You were bashing Y2Jets earlier, but if I recall the Chipman bashing from you is starting to go a little stale aswell. I have to agree with that. What's the point of 'beating a dead horse'?

They have already ruled out next year. Why? They haven't said nor should we expect an answer.
This while the Penguins are for sale, and others soon to follow this year. As for their lease being valid until next year, so what? We had a lease and loss subsidy deal until 1997 yet the Jets left in 1996. Moving the Penguins and playing in Winnipeg starting in the 2006-07 season is not even close to impossible yet false north has made it clear it won't be happening.
That sounds like stalling until we forget about the NHL so they can pull the rug out without resistance to me.
