It's actually pretty funny. It's a picture of this beach full of people and then it says "Come Visit Manitoba" and has a little Canadian flag / Manitoba shape logo.
I think it's funny because the way it looks, some average idiot would think Manitoba is an island in the Bahamas or something ;D

How stupid. Why would they put a billboard inciting people to visit Manitoba in Winnipeg? Why not Grand Forks or Ontario??

I think our biggest tourist asset is the abundance of freshwater lakes, and the great Fishing in Northern Manitoba. Second, the drinking age is 18 here, and 21 in America. We can attract many young Americans this way. Our marijuana is also better!

With this being opening weekend for fishing you should have seen all the Manitoban and American plates in Kenora and Dryden today. Im working in Kenora this summer and the amount of new cottages that have been constructed in and around Kenora in recent years from Manitobans is astronomical. I guess with the cottage prices up at Lake Winnipeg being so much they're moving east down the Trans-Canada Highway.

Anyone but Bud Grant (former Blue Bomber and Viking coach). Those commercials from the 80's were awful. "Tell em' BUD sent you!" Yeah right.....
