Designs for the area (streets, public services, etc), for what I know, are still in the works. It better not end up looking like another Whyteridge or Linden Woods...

Clareview....
I never understood why city officials decided to build the LRT to that part of Edmonton, instead of the West Edmonton Mall, or down along 111th. Big mistake!

so hookers can go from job sight to job sight quickly... Haha Just wondering does anyone know why they didn't put a line to West Edmonton Mall, wouldn't there be more ridership if they put a line to the busiest area of Edmonton.

Just wondering does anyone know why they didn't put a line to West Edmonton Mall, wouldn't there be more ridership if they put a line to the busiest area of Edmonton. From what i understand, developers and city planners tried to convince the City of Edmonton that the West and South were going to be the fastest growing areas of the city, and to built the LRT to the Mall. The city disagreed, and decided to build the line to Clairview instead. Now hookers and drug dealers can get to point A to point B, without wasting gas!
