MTS Centre = 11,600 already sold. No Joke.
I'm there row 24 on the floor! $85 per ticket. Also, no joke.

I never could get down with 80's rock. And at prices like that I see I never will. Even when Slipknot played here in Calgary a few weeks back it was cheaper than that and they are a popular current act. $85 should get you all access with access to the backstage after party, not just tickets on the floor. But hey I guess they gotta support their habits somehow.

The Crue were the first band that I really got into. I had all of their albums by 1990. I was only 13. Looking back on it, I often say "what on earth was I thinking?" Although I still like Shout at the Devil.
Motley Crue may hold some good memories for Peggers' that were teens in the 80's, but thats all it really is. Pink Floyd, on the other hand, is a band I never grow tired of listening to. It's too bad I didn't discover them until 96', because I would have killed to go to the 94' concert at the Stadium.
I still remeber all those glam-rock bands from the 80's. Poison, Bon Jovi, Cinderalla, Extreme, Skid Row, etc. It's hard to believe I can still remember the first time I heard "Nevermind" by Nirvana. I was hooked right away. Almost overnight, Nirvana (and to a lesser extent, Pearl jam) had changed the face of rock, as the glam bands went from headlining arenas to playing small clubs in a matter of a couple of years. I remember Sebastan Bach headlining The Zoo in the mid 90's. How far they fall.....

true, there are much better bands.... but a wild live rock show is what the docter ordered. Lots of today's rock sounds similar. An 80's band will be a nice change of pace.
I went to the last two Ozzy concerts, back to back years. I personally can't listen to Ozzy over and over again on a C.D, but when in a live setting, it changes everything.
