What size of arena would be best suited for the WHL in Winnipeg? Remember of course that the NHL should be back in Winnipeg within 3 years and may affect WHL attendance.

Something like this: link to proposed new WHL arena (near Bishop Grandin & Waverley): www.homestead.com/SouthSportS/ExeSummary.html

i think an arena of aprox 6500 seats would be about rite. a sellout each night and a demand for tickets.

6500 might be a little tough to do. You have a population advantage over us in Brandon, so if it can happen, more power to you. I would kill for a Wheaties vs. Winnipeg rivalry. That would be the tits.

If the NHL comes back I think the Highlander or St. James Civic Center would do, no way with real hockey there that a WHL team will draw.
