This just in: Shortly after midnight, NHL Players' Association executive director Bob Goodenow responded, however, with another proposal -- a salary cap of $49 million per team. Goodenow concluded the letter by saying, "You will receive nothing further from us." Well, there you have it folks. Goodnow's response to Bettman's letter and 42.5 million cap proposal. Looks like the season is dead! ;D source: buffalo.bizjournals.com/buffalo/stories/2005/02/14/daily19.html

What is Goodenow trying to pull? Bettman already stated this is our FINAL offer. Now he is trying to play hard ball? Good riddence to the season.
