Esposito says the players are WRONG and he says there shouldn't be a 10 million dollar player because the revenue's dont justify it. Hall of famer speaking his mind...HAHA come on NHLPA "misquote" him now www.tsn.ca/nhl/news_story.asp?id=111752

Its true there should be no 10 million dollar players. The stars are the ONLY ONES who lose with a cap. Most other players would take a small cut, but the NHL even wants to raise the minimum salary for the little guys. Take a CAP!

i bet he wouldnt be saying that if he were 25 years younger. but he is 25 years smarter than most of the players. i think more and more hall of famers need to step up and say these kind of things because the players will get hunted down by the nhlpa secret police if they say anything. good job phil!

I think most players under a Cap would love the 1.8 million average salary I have read in reports. Especially in a 'niche' sport in the U.S. like hockey. Maybe next year they'll get a clue.

The players better accept that because if they dont there looking at an average salary of 900k to a million dollors. the longer they hold out the less there gonna make in the end.
