Not much there to really comment on. Interesting plan, not much given back to the community, but then why should there be, they will be paying enough in taxes anyway.
Having lived in Reno for years, Harrah's is a good gaming company, has one of the better hotels on the strip in Reno, and had absolutley one of the best steak houses I have ever been to.

So as I understand the Pens/Island Capri are going up against the Pittsburgh First Plan for the slot liscence. And the vote for it will come sometime in the summer of '06. Guess it will be a bit of a wait before we find out what happens next.
Would winning the slot liscence pay for the whole arena? Or would they need tax dollars or other corporate support on top of it? Everything I've read seems hazy. Ppl are talking about Plan B's, but this is pretty much their only shot.

I would sure love to be on the committee voting for this.
Imagine the kickbacks that you would be offered, the dinners you would be taken too, the houses that would be offered!!!
