Shaquille O'Neal, Queen Latifah, and Whitney Houston were born in Newark, NJ. I'm sure they grew up loving hockey!

That is not exactly where the arena is being built... it's in downtown Newark.
But, I think that's funny you posted that picture of the smokestacks and railroad lines within the landscape! Believe me, you pass a ton of this along the New Jersey Turnpike. Plus, it smells like rotten eggs if you have your car windows open... and then you understand why New Jersey receives so many butt-end jokes!

I still don't see the Devils coming to Winnipeg.
Here's a thought that is a bit out of left field but with the Nets moving to new arena being built in Brooklyn, (by rapper Jay-Z who apparently invested well and is worth stupid money now,) what chance do you think there is of the Devils moving with them? You could resurrect the Brooklyn Americans of the 1940's!
Crazy thought but...

I hate to agree but The Devils are a long shot. A new arena , and big Lou lamarilo well..............Plus as much as a crappy market it is for Jersey folk it is a big T.V. Market for M.S.G and The Rangers. If they do move, it will be in a few years, you dont build a new arena and move the anchor tenant the same year. Pittsburg, Carolina, Florida, and Nashville are our best hopes.
