If the Ducks moved here, then the L.A. Clippers could play at the Arrowhead Pond!! I think it's so stupid how the Lakers *and* the Clippers play at the new Staples Center !
Anaheim is practically L.A. ..... and w/ the Clippers moving to Anaheim to play at the Pond, it would free up more dates at the Staples Center for concerts and stuff, and make sure the Pond has a tenant !!
This makes too much sense... an NBA team in the Arrowhead Pond would surely be more successful than a hockey team.
EVERYONE WINS in this scenario too...
the Staples Center (more dates freed up for other events)
The Clippers (their own home; their own identity)
The City of Anaheim (a sports franchise to replace the Ducks- one that will be appreciated and embraced)
WINNIPEG - (the NHL returns to a city where it truly belongs)

That surely makes sense.
I don't like the NBA, I have a conspiracy theory that is the NBA and its owners that own the NBA and NHL franchise make sure the NHL is second fiddle to the NBA. I mean why did the NHL allow the owners who own a rival league like NBA franchise to own an NHL team as well. I think Gil Stein the commissioner has got the NHL where he wants us and that is obscurity. He is essentially telling Bettman what to do. Think about it. The NBA and Bettman and its owners who own franchises in both leagues are the ones ruining the league.
Yes I know it makes economic sense to own two franchises to fill an arena, but there is always arena football that runs on different calender dates so why don't those owners own a team in that league instead of an NBA franchise. Besides it can be done look at Phoenix both the NHL and NBA are owned by different owners and played in different arenas.

This makes too much sense. It makes even more sense when you consider the Moose have got a mascot named Mick E. Moose. And, Disney owns the Ducks. And, who else in Disneyland is more famous than Mickey Mouse? Hmm??

With or without the Mighty Ducks, the Clippers were asked about considering a move down Interstate 5 anyway.
Two NBA teams at Staples Center doesn't make sense, I agree. Tell that to Donald Sterling though.
Jason, you really don't know that for sure. First of all, the Clippers are a perrenial loser. There's no guarantee that larger crowds would be at Arrowhead Pond in Anaheim as the lone tenant than at Staples Center in downtown Los Angeles where they are one of four main tenants.
If you had the Ducks AND Clippers at the Pond, I can see that working in city of Anaheim's favor in generating plenty more revenue than just either team as a single tenant. Then again, that team needs to be on track to winning to have a better chance at being more profitable, obviously.
Not to make excuses so much, but Disney did not pay enough of its own attention to running the Ducks at their best. Not the top-notch hockey people running the team. The on-ice product didn't help either. Because of their struggles, they are an easy target for out-of-town fans to want the Ducks out of there.
