How many teams are interested in relocating their franchise to Winnipeg?

one.
The Anaheim Mighty Ducks. Rumor has it that there is a group of displaced Winnipeggers that have enough capital to buy the team and move it to Winnipeg.

A doctor that currently owns the arena in Anahiem bought the team from Disney so you can cross Anahiem of the list there staying put.

That would really be something if it happened. Don't you think that would leak out into the media if an NHL team contacted Winnipeg about relocating here? It happened in early 2004...

No, not everything leaks out into the media. Somethings behind closed doors can stay there. The last number I know of, is 4.

and more importantly, are they still negotiating with us?

Well if all this negotiating is going on and not even the media know's anything because it's going on behind closed doors how does anyone here now that 4 teams are intrested in moving here? I'd like to see facts or some sort of proof that team's are really intrested in relocating here.

I've heard from a reliable source that all 30 teams are interested in relocating to Winnipeg. There will be 5 teams using the "Winnipeg" name. The divisional alignment wil be as follows:
Northwest:
MAPLES MAPLE LEAFS GARDEN CITY RANGERS WEST KILDONAN KINGS AMBER TRAILS MIGHTY DUCKS STONEWALL CANUCKS
West:
HEADINGLEY HURRICANES ST JAMES CANADIENS WESTWOOD RED WINGS CHARLESWOOD BLACK HAWKS TUXEDO COYOTES
Central:
RIVER HEIGHTS BLUE JACKETS FORT ROUGE FLAMES FORT GARRY PREDATORS WHYTE RIDGE BRUINS TUXEDO COYOTES
Southeast:
ST NORBERT LIGHTNING ST VITAL PANTHERS WINDSOR PARK PENGUINS SOUTHDALE ISLANDERS ST BONIFACE NORDIQUES
Northeast:
TRANSCONA WHALERS NORTH KILDONAN SHARKS EAST KILDONAN STARS ELMWOOD OILERS EAST ST PAUL AVALANCHE
Winnipeg:
WINNIPEG JETS WINNIPEG SENATORS WINNIPEG FLYERS WINNIPEG DEVILS WINNIPEG WILD
13 new arenas, with capacities ranging from 15,600 to 19,800 will be constructed in the next 3 years at a cost of $1.7 billion. The Stanley Cup will stay in winnipeg every season, unless of course, East st Paul, Headingley, or Stonewall take it from us! ;D
