case scenario multiple times... It looks so damn good to us... But, lets say the NHLPA Completely gives in, and the NHL gets exactly what they wanted and more... The teams like how it looks, and the ones in trouble get to stick it out for another year... All teams make money... even with those who are "boycotting" the NHL for stubborn reasons. 30 teams is a few too many as we speak... Expansion won't happen, even if it's a Canadian City... I'm in a bad mood right now Guess I REALLY Can't wait for tonight =\

No matter WHAT happens with the CBA, they'll still have half-empty arenas in about 5 U.S. markets.
You can't have a successful, healthy, proftiable business with a half-full arena... doesn't matter how low your payroll is.

They had few before. They'll have less if/when they go back

If I was a betting man, I would say Pittsburgh, Carolina, Miami, Tampa Bay, Phoenix, Anaheim, Nashville, NY Islanders, Atlanta, and Washington will be lucky to fill 60% of their respective arenas...
