Contact the Predators DIRECTLY at this site: www.nashvillepredators.com/contactus/index.htmlYou know what to tell 'em. Sure, they won't move here cause we write 'em. But we'll get *someone's* attention- someone who works for the Predators.

why not?i mean why would asking them to come where they would be appreciated(and the advertising budget would shrink considerably)be a negative thing?

Nashville would be great to get here. If we had Tootoo, everyone in Northern Manitoba/Nunavut would be buying PPV or TV packages.

Besides that, Nashville has a low payroll, yet has a decent team. I think they would work well here. Regardless of whether Nashville comes here, I think whoever is the GM should actively try to acquire Tootoo, because it would probably boost team revenue more than any other player in the league, especially with his relatively low salary.

Also you'd be killing two birds with one stone, or righting two wrongs.. Put a team back in a hockey-crazy market and take a team out of a non-hockey-crazy market.
I wouldn't want to take a team from Pennsylvania or New York, take it from Tennessee where they will barely notice that the team has been taken.

There are 3 reasons why Nashville moving here would be IDEAL:
1. Jordin Tootoo. He'd instantly become the most popular hockey player in Manitoba. This whole province would probably worship him.
2. Easy to adjust divisions. Minnesota moves to the Central (where they should have been all along), and Winnipeg takes Minnesota's place in the Northeast div., with Calgary, Edmonton, and Vancouver.
3. Low payroll. It's perfect, actually. Around $21 mill. U.S. (which is about what a Wpg NHL team payroll would have to be around), and they're competitive.

Blackthorne if you are relying on that then we might not be getting an NHL team... The salary "floor" for the last proposal was $32M.... I think we can support the 32M
