Just curious on where all the money that was collected at that rally to keep them here went to?

It ALL went to charity. My dad donated $100, he's sooooooooo F'ing cheap, so dishing out a $100 for the Jets showed how much he wanted them to stay. Even though the Jets didn't stay, he was fine with it going to charity.

UMMMM-If we are talking about the rally of 95,you had about a week to get your money back,as long as you had a receipt to show that you made a donation. All the money that went unclaimed was then given to charity.
Or you could have given it to the Bombers who were in dire finances at the time,to help them out.
I did get money back, and still have the paperwork for it.I could still get great season tix in the lower bowl in todays NHL,for the amount that i tried giving them....

So you took your money back instead of it going to a charity?

I believe that if it was cash it was given to charity. As they had no way of figuring out who it came from. if it was cheque or visa you had the option to get it back or give to charity.

Finally found this in one of my boxes sitting the basement. This was the portion of the paper I got back along with my cheque. When I just looked at the cheque I wrote, nobody bothered to notice I dated it March 17th-1995,when it should've been May 17th,guess it was still good, take the money and run I guess-lol The blocked out portion is just my name and the company I had worked for at the time, who also donated $1m I guess I would have got season tix in the upper bowl and not the lower one like I said in my old post above-lol
